Book a Ride

Balloon rides are one of the most memorable experiences at the Carolina BalloonFest, and we’re already looking ahead to 2026. Once our participating pilots are confirmed for the 2026 event, we’ll share full details on how to book a balloon ride, including availability and pricing. If soaring above the festival is on your wish list, stay tuned — more information will be released as we get closer to the event.

  • Balloon rides are $400 per person.

  • Balloon rides typically last approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on weather conditions and flight patterns. Each experience may vary slightly to ensure the safest and most enjoyable flight possible.

  • Please stay tuned for more information. Once participating pilots are confirmed, we will list them below for you to reach out to. You can sign up for our email list to be the first to hear when rides become available.

  • No, balloon rides are not included with your festival admission. Entry tickets and balloon rides are separate purchases. Balloon rides are booked directly through the participating pilots, who partner with us to help bring this unforgettable experience to life. 

  • Hot air balloon flights are scheduled twice each day—once in the early morning and again in the late afternoon.

  • All ballooning activities (including static display, tethered rides and balloon flights) are weather-dependent.  The decision to inflate hot air balloons is made just prior to the scheduled ballooning activity.

  • All balloon ride reservations, deposits, and refund policies are handled directly by the individual pilots. For any questions regarding cancellations or refunds, please contact your pilot directly.
