Carolina BalloonFest attracts nearly 30,000 spectators who arrive from the greater Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro metro areas of North Carolina - many of our guests journey from dozens of states to experience our amazing 3-day hot air balloon festival.

Rain or Shine... Carolina BalloonFest is open October 20-22, 2017!
Hot Air Balloon Flights are scheduled twice daily; early morning & late afternoon. All ballooning activities including static display, tethered rides and balloon flights are weather dependent. The decision to inflate hot air balloons is made just prior to the scheduled ballooning activity. Due to limited entrance points into our festival, guests are encouraged to purchase advance tickets and plan to PARK by 1 PM to attend late afternoon launches. Tickets are non-refundable. |

National Balloon Rally Charities, Inc. is an incorporated 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all contributions are tax deductible. Festival Location is near Statesville Regional Airport at 260 Hangar Drive, Statesville, NC 28677. **NEW** On site festival parking is reserved for guests with a PREPAID TICKET IN HAND. Spectators who drive to the festival venue without prepaid tickets will be redirected to Park & Ride. A redirect will add extra travel time to your destination experience and compromise your on time arrival for scheduled events. For safety and exit clearance, NO ROADSIDE PARKING - vehicles will be towed where NO PARKING signs are posted. Walk in spectators will not be admitted. Only guests in vehicles with prepaid tickets will be admitted to park at festival venue. Ticket scanning will be in progress.
