Marketing & Promotions
Now accepting creative Volunteers for Marketing & Promotions! As a volunteer on this team, you'll support project leaders on various projects such Internet listings, social media, local and regional promotions, merchandising and special events.
Volunteers are encouraged to volunteer 1-2 hours a week in the upcoming months. During our event weekend, 4 hour shifts may also be requested. Each Volunteer is an important member of a large team committed to providing a memorable experience for thousands of daily visitors!
Opportunities & Benefits. Volunteers receive a commemorative Carolina BalloonFest Volunteer T-shirt - worn while 'on shift'. Free admission is offered to each Volunteer on their shift day. We encourage Volunteers to arrive early or stay after a shift to enjoy all the special nuances of Carolina BalloonFest.
How We Schedule Volunteers. Most Volunteers on this team are accepted on a 'first registration' and experience basis, so please submit your online registration early! The Marketing team is very busy prior to our three day weekend event in October! Projects are on deck, now...

Bring your confirmation letter to the Statesville Chamber (115 E. Front Street, Statesville, NC 28625) to redeem your T-Shirt, Parking Pass and Wrist Ticket as a 2012 Volunteer with Carolina BalloonFest.

Rain or Shine...Carolina BalloonFest is open! Hot Air Balloons will fly, tether or be on display when suitable. safe weather conditions exist. The decision to inflate hot air balloons is made near and prior to scheduled display, tether or launch & flight times.
