RV Camping

How to RV camp at the Carolina BalloonFest:

1. Download the RV Parking Application
2. Fill out the required information, and sign the contract portion of the application.  
3. Enclose check with mailed application packet.

Payment Option: 

By Mail via Check: Enclose check with RV Fee with your application and (made out to National Balloon Rally Charities, Inc.), and mail your application to Carolina BalloonFest at P.O. Box 267, Statesville, NC 28687.
NOTE TO RV GUEST: 
  • Parking permits are for dry camping only (no electric, sewer or water services on site)
  • Option for Premium (Class A RVs ONLY) or Standard RV spots
  • Fees include overnight parking for the nights of Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21
  • RV fee includes Weekend Passes (a $70 value) good for all 3 days at the festival
  • ​Option to upgrade tickets. See form. 
  • ​Additional tickets available in advance (online) or at the gate
  • All vehicles must vacate premises before 10 PM , Sunday October 22
  • No Refunds. Fee applies to one vehicle whether vehicle stays one or both days.

Rain or Shine... Carolina BalloonFest is open October 20-22, 2023!  
Hot Air Balloon Flights are scheduled twice daily; early morning & late afternoon. All ballooning activities (including static display, tethered rides and balloon flights) and skydiving exhibition are weather-dependent.  The decision to inflate hot air balloons is made just prior to the scheduled ballooning activity.  Please note that due to the popularity of our festival, our admissions booths will close when we reach maximum capacity. This is a decision out of our control and made by local law enforcement.  Tickets are non-refundable. National Balloon Rally Charities, Inc. is a nonprofit that donates a portion of our festival proceeds to other local nonprofits and surrounding community agencies.

Festival Location is near Statesville Regional Airport at 260 Hangar Drive, Statesville, NC 28677. ​Pre-purchased parking will be available on site and free parking will be available at Troutman park and ride. NO ROADSIDE PARKING - vehicles will be towed where NO PARKING signs are posted. Walk in spectators will not be admitted. Ticket scanning will be in progress.
